Well here is some fun stuff, DH and I just returned from car shopping with a new "toy". Oh what fun! I have been searching Craig's List and Car Soup and some others and we finally found just what we wanted. This is me sitting in the driveway. And as promised I am also adding some photos of a quilt I made to go with our new furniture. I had my painted floral one and it just wasn't the right colors. So this quilt was so fun, I started it on Tuesday morning had it pieced by that evening and had it quilted, bound and on the wall by Wed. night. It still needs to be blocked but I love it. The pattern is by Deb Madir of Birch Creek Quilts and is called Moon Dancers. But I didn't put on the "moons" And of course I had to do a little painting with Paintstiks and make it a little bigger to fit the space. Deb also sells iron on crystals. Check out her other patterns, they are lots of fun and easy to do. Well I'm going to go and drive my new toy for a while and then tomorrow we go to our niece's wedding.
